About June:
Having been an Ilfracombe Town Councillor since 2019 I feel that I am able to bring this experience to North Devon District Council.
I look forward to working with my fellow councillors over the next four years to lead North Devon into the future and make it a place that you the residents can be justly proud of. Being a Devon lass born and bred I am rightly proud to be able to represent the views of the residents of ilfracombe as a whole.
Having previously run a small family business I am aware of the challenges that doing so raise on a daily basis as well as juggling this with bringing up a young family. We only sold this business in the last two years after running it for some 25 years. During this time we were actively involved in the local community.
My two sons, now grown up, also live and work in our beautiful town and are involved in many local organisations.
As many of you may know my husband is ex forces but like me was born and bred here and he is also very proud of his hometown and still is actively involved in the community .
I look forward to facing the challenges of the next four years.
